They're sitting now with eyebrows raised,
Quite calmly there, would gladly be amazed.
It seems so little this verse, but thinking about it,
it's quite amusing. People want to be astonished and they
want to feel pain, joy, sadness, compassion, they want
emotions. Therefore they go to the cinema, the theatre,
the disco etc. They want emotions but without the consequences
of the life behind them. Live wants to live, with all
emotions and the theatre is a form of living without suffering
the consequences. Maybe it can be even said that people
experience more in the contemplative way than in the real
life.
